Dachau Gate puts police before riddles
The Norwegian police patrol in the dark: After the iron gate of the former Dachau concentration camp unexpectedly appeared in the west of the country, the thief was feverishly searched for.
The investigations were complicated, because so far no usable indications were discovered, said police officer Kari Bjørkhaug Trones. The gate had already been lying together for quite some time together with some rubbish. Suspects do not exist.
The stolen gate with the inscription "work makes free" was discovered last Monday in a parking lot near Bergen under a tarp. It came from the concentration camp Dachau near Munich, which the Nazis had already built in 1933.
