A33: Three dead in frontal collision
Three people were killed in a traffic accident on Highway 33 near Paderborn. The misfortune was obviously caused by a ghost driver.
To the collision it had come shortly before midnight between the descents Borchen and Paderborn-Mönkeloh. A 44-year-old from Pforzheim collided head-on with a car with a 31-year-old man from Paderborn and a woman, the police said. This was reported by a witness. All three had been killed in the collision.
Which of the two cars was in the wrong direction was still to be clarified. Even the identity of the dead woman was not yet established.
All four vehicles were confiscated. The motorway remained closed until the morning hours.

Two seriously injured women
According to the accident two other vehicles were involved in which a 23-year-old woman from Gotha (Thuringia) and a 20-year-old from Herford sat. Both women were seriously injured, but there was no danger of life.All four vehicles were confiscated. The motorway remained closed until the morning hours.
